Bodrum Bay Club
Beach club on a private bay: ceremony on the jetty, dinner on the deck, party until the music curfew.
The bay is private, the jetty runs out over water that is usually flat by six in the evening, and the deck behind it seats two hundred without feeling like a banqueting hall.
This is the venue people picture when they think of a Bodrum wedding, and it earns the reputation. It is also the loudest, latest and most produced option on this list, which is either the point or the problem depending on the couple.
The jetty
Ceremony at the end of it, guests seated along both sides, water on three sides of you. The walk out is the aisle. In the evening the surface is calm and the light comes in low from the west, which is why every photographer working the peninsula asks for this slot.
Afternoons are a different matter. The meltemi picks up from around midday and the jetty is exposed. We do not schedule afternoon ceremonies here, and any venue that offers you one has not thought about your veil.
What to know before you book
Music to 02:00, which is the latest licence on the peninsula and the reason a lot of couples choose it over a hotel.
Guests can arrive by boat from Bodrum marina. It takes twenty-five minutes, it is a genuinely lovely way to open a wedding, and it needs to be timed against the wind rather than the clock.
There is no accommodation on site. Guests stay in Bodrum or Yalıkavak and we run road transfers both ways.
Who it suits
Forty to two hundred guests, Signature or Grand & Multi-Day. Couples who want the party to be the headline. If you want the same coast at half the volume, Yalıkavak Stone House is the other end of the spectrum.
