The Russian route has one genuine advantage over the western European ones and one genuine complication, and they are the same thing: the consulate.
The consular option
The certificate of no impediment can often be issued by the Russian consulate in Türkiye rather than by a ZAGS office at home. When that works it removes an apostille round trip and cuts a fortnight from the process.
Whether it works depends on your consulate and your circumstances, and it changes. This is the single point on this page where we would tell you not to rely on a website (ours or anyone else's) and to confirm your own position directly before you buy flights.
The route most couples take
Symbolic. A large proportion of our Russian couples are two people coming to Cappadocia for three days, and a document process measured in weeks does not fit a trip measured in days.

Language
We assign a Russian-speaking planner to Russian enquiries, and a Russian-speaking celebrant is available at every venue we work with. Where the guest list is mixed, the ceremony runs bilingually. It takes ten minutes longer and it is worth it.
