Alaçatı Courtyard
Stone walls, olive trees, long tables. Twenty rooms on site for the closest guests.
Stone walls, olive trees in the middle, long tables down the length of it, and twenty rooms opening off the sides. This is the most complete expression of what Alaçatı is for.
Why couples choose it
Because the whole weekend happens on foot. Guests walk from their rooms to the welcome dinner in the village, back for the wedding, and to bed. There is no shuttle, no timing sheet for transport, and no moment where twelve people are standing outside a restaurant waiting for a minibus.
The courtyard is enclosed on four sides, which means the afternoon breeze that Alaçatı is famous for goes over the top of it. Candles stay lit. Menus stay on tables.
What to know before you book
Ninety seated is the limit and it is generous. The courtyard reads bigger than the number suggests because it is long rather than wide.
Music to 01:00, then it moves inside.
The village outside is cobbled and largely pedestrian. Coaches stop at the edge, and the last two hundred metres are on foot over uneven stone. Say this in your guest information.
